Product Description
STABUTHERM GH 461 and STABUTHERM GH 462 are high-temperature lubricating greases based on mineral oil and polyurea. They have a wide operating temperature range and can be used for rolling bearings operating at high temperatures of up to 180°C. When used in a central lubrication system, the operating temperature can reach 200°C.
The anti-wear performance of STABUTHERM GH 461 and STABUTHERM GH 462 is highly significant. These greases are very viscous and can resist water under both static and dynamic loads. STABUTHERM GH 461 and STABUTHERM GH 462 also exhibit excellent oxidation resistance and reliable corrosion protection.
Product Applications
STABUTHERM GH 461 and STABUTHERM GH 462 are suitable for use in smelting and steel rolling mills, particularly for high-temperature lubrication points in central lubrication systems, such as:
- Drive rollers in continuous casting plants (slabs and billets)
- Conveying rollers in continuous combustion furnaces
In these applications, the lubricating grease must meet extremely high requirements in various aspects: operating temperature, fouling, water exposure, and resulting corrosion.
STABUTHERM GH 461 and STABUTHERM GH 462 are also suitable for other high-temperature applications, such as:
- Annealing furnaces and drying ovens
- Sliding bearings on cranes in foundries
- Hot rollers in cardboard production plants
- Road pavers
- Closing doors of bulk material delivery hoppers
- Cooling beds and conveyor systems
