Product Description
Klüberquiet BQ 72-72 is a lubricating grease based on ester oil, with polyurea as a thickener and containing special additives. This chemical composition ensures that Klüberquiet BQ 72-72 provides many advantages in rolling bearing lubrication applications:
- Testing with bearing vibration measurement devices shows very low operational noise for filled bearings, such as in the SKF-BeQuiet+ tests.
- Excellent anti-wear properties and the high-temperature stability of synthetic lubricants extend bearing service life.
- Good compatibility with synthetic rubber (relevant data available).
- Superior performance at both high and low temperatures.
Product Applications
Klüberquiet BQ 72-72 is suitable for applications that require both bearing service life and low noise levels. Examples include motors in automobiles, household appliances, and office equipment, as well as fans, air conditioning units, generators, and tensioning rollers. This product is primarily applied in long-life or lifetime lubrication of enclosed bearings.
The low noise characteristics of this rolling bearing grease have been comprehensively validated using noise testing equipment. According to SKF-BeQuiet+ test results, Klüberquiet BQ 72-72 achieves a noise level rating of GN 3.
The grease's service life testing was conducted on SKF-ROF and FAG-FE9 rolling bearing testing instruments following the DIN 51 821 testing method. The results demonstrate the grease's long-lasting performance under high-temperature conditions (refer to product information).
Usage Precautions
The lubricant can be applied using a spatula, brush, grease gun, or by replenishing with grease. It is recommended to thoroughly remove any rust preventatives before applying the grease.
