Product Description
MICROLUBE GL 261/GL 262 is a specialty grease based on mineral oil. It uses a special lithium soap as a thickener and contains MICROLUBE additives that smooth the surface of the workpiece, effectively reducing wear during the running-in period. Additionally, the MICROLUBE additive formulation provides effective protection against fretting corrosion on the workpiece surface under boundary friction conditions.
MICROLUBE GL 261/GL 262 can absorb high loads during operation and offers excellent corrosion protection.
Product Applications
MICROLUBE GL 261/GL 262 grease is particularly suitable for medium to low-speed sliding and rolling bearings, as well as some rotating or vibrating components. It is ideal for small gears, such as gear adjustment mechanisms, or for components at risk of experiencing fretting corrosion.
Usage Precautions
MICROLUBE GL 261/GL 262 can be applied using a brush, spatula, or injected through a grease gun or central lubrication system.
