High-temperature grease for slow-running bearings
Klübersynth BH 72-422 is a synthetic high-temperature grease, and this innovative lubricant has outstanding characteristics, including excellent oil retention capability and exceptional thermal stability when subjected to thermal loads. This is crucial for a specific class of applications that require lubricating greases to perform well under short-term temperature peaks exceeding 150°C. The introduction of this grease provides an alternative to using only perfluorinated oil greases in many applications.
However, please note: Do not use this product in high-load rolling bearing applications that operate continuously at temperatures above 180°C.
Product Features
- It is a fully synthetic grease designed for long-term and high-temperature service, with a temperature range of -20°C to 220°C.
- It has the following characteristics: excellent adhesion across a wide working temperature range, high dropping point, good wear resistance, corrosion protection, and excellent water resistance, withstanding high temperatures up to 220°C.
Applications
- Preferred applications include low-speed sliding and rolling bearings, as well as guideways where silicone is not ideal but high thermal stability is required, such as in conveyor systems and paint drying agents in the automotive and supply industries, as well as in calendar systems, kiln cars, and continuous casting roller baking machinery.
